Mary Jo Twist - Account Manager Mary Jo started her food career in 1988 in the retail side of the business and began her foodservice career in 2000. Her first 4 years were spent as a Sales and Marketing Associate responsible for many of the major operators in the Buffalo market. This included the development and maintaining of relationships, new item marketing strategies, customizing of sales material and conducting manufacturer specific training seminars with area distributors. Since 2004 she has been assigned as an account manager working on behalf of major manufacturers to develop business opportunities with Sysco, Jamestown. Her abilities to closing deals and maintaining mutually beneficial partnershiips lead to major successes with her manufacturers with Sysco. She also supervised all aspects of food shows in the western territories of New York. We look forward to Mary Jo joining our team and to putting her many attributes to work on behalf of our manufacturer partners. Susan Fenocchi – Business Manager Susan started her career in the early 80's working summers with a food broker during breaks from college. After college, she worked for the parent company of Spectrum foodservice. After several years, Susan went on to be a Key Account Manager with the Kraft Dairy Group. After moving to San Francisco in 1987, she became a District Manager for RJR Sales, Planters Lifesavers Division. She returned to the Syracuse area and worked with a competitive foodservice broker as a manufacturer specialist before joining Spectrum as a business manager. Joe Germain – Business Manager Joe has 15 years of Foodservice experience. Joe's career includes being a Sous Chef and then Head Chef at several well known local establishments; Red Front, Verdiles, Wolferts Roost CC, and the Castaways. Joe was also production manager of Chartwells a division of Compass at SUNY Albany – 16,000 students. Joe has also successfully completed the ServSafe Food protection/ management program. Joe Stout – Business Manager Joe started his career in the business with a degree from Paul Smith College in Hotel & Restaurant Management. He worked in several management positions in the Buffalo/ Rochester area including the Attica Correctional facility and with Marriott Hotels as a catering director for 5 years. For the past 5 years Joe and his wife ran a successful restaurant in Attica, NY and elected to join Spectrum so his wife could spend more time with his young family. Sheila Govendo - Business Manager Shiela started her career in the foodservice industry 23 years ago after graduating from college with an associates degree in in Food Service Management. She spent the next 13 years working in the health care industry starting as a kitchen supervisor, then production coordinator, purchasing manager and then as Director of Food Service at several large Central New York Nursing Homes. She then worked as a Distributor sales person as a School / Health care specialist for the next 3 years. Sheila then joined a foodservice broker as a sales agent. We are very excited to have Sheila join our sales organization. |
